Wow, what a year! I had the privilege of working with some great people this year. Met some new people and made some great new friends. I purchased another DSM back in January of 07, a 99 GSX, That makes 3 now. What started out as my dream car turned out to be a headache. There was something very bizzar and unexplainable about that car. Let's just say I had my work cut out for me. Owning the car did have its upsides, I learned a lot and indirectly because of it, I met this great girl. While I didn't get to drive off into the sunset with that girl, I did walk away with some great cinematic style stories of trying to win her over and stories of so many bizzar circumstances that surrounded my attempts that all somehow stemmed from that car. Most importantly it's good to know there are girls out there that catch my interest on that level and obviously cars as well. They're both trouble too.

I lost a ridiculous amount of weight in the fall and by March I hit 140lbs. I bounced back up 4lbs but with working this spring I shouldn't have a problem staying there. Between the people I work with and the people I worked for, I learned a lot about how other people see the world and live their lives. Life is hard but there's no point in making it harder on yourself. If you do, then you better be able walk away with some great stories.

2007 really was a great year. I just might have to kick things up a notch for 2008. I have a few bobbyt.com layout changes in mind and those might pop up soon. I deleted a few photos and added some photos from the past. I'm still sticking with nature shots for privacy reasons.

I noticed I my last few posts I mentioned the current state of disk space cost. For the heck of it I'll point out it is now at $0.17 cents a GB. It's pretty amazing how fast technology changes. I just purchased an ipod touch. It wasn't that long ago my 20gb black and white ipod was the latest and greatest. The ipod touch is just an amazing thing. It's the reincarnation of the Apple Newton based around the ipod functionality.

The last two weeks went fast for me. I was out working a couple days last week. Now I'm back working on a few projects. I resumed my big editing project today and I'll be trying to finish that up soon, then maybe posting a few samples in my projects section. I always find it hard resuming something I had on the go. I look back at my previous work and go 'how on earth did i do that' but once I pick away at it I start to get the hang of it again. My disk space is getting slim again. I noticed disk space is now at 27 cents a gb vs 44 cents a year ago. Not dropping like it used to but still getting cheap. I might pick up some more soon if I can't finish stuff with what I have.

I see the last two comments on my comment board are related to my domain. One offering to buy it (sorry, not for sale but I like your taste in domain names) and the other telling me (in german) to hand it over because hes been rapping under the name BobbyT for 5yrs (if I translated that right) hahaha .. you knob. Ich scheisse auf deine Brust.

Some site updates were done today. Those comments reminded me how popular the site used to be and how I should get back to adding content.
I finished the bobbyt.com info page today and changed a couple buttons on the menu bar. Also added a link to my del.icio.us page with fun content. There's an RSS feed that I hope to intergrate into my layout in the future. I thought I updated the myspace link to facebook but I either forgot or it reverted back. I switched over because facebook is a bit more private and their privacy policy sucks a little less.

more good stuff to come!

I called up execulink to axe my Internet connection today but the their so called cancellation deptartment is closed. I didn't know there was such a thing. Big companies frustrait me so much. They bought out my old provider a while back and have added packet shaping, soft caps and the network is past due for an upgrade. But they spend all their money buying out small companies they can't afford an upgrade.
Despite being with them i've been using another pppoe login and routed through teksavvy for the past month and have to say the service has been amazing. When you email or get a call from them you're speaking to an actual technical support person that knows what's going on with the network and the status of your account. Not a teenage girl or thick accented indian that has trouble with basic terms like sync, profile, downtime. Now comes the hard part of switching who handles the line card without downtime.

I have a new car project on the go I'm excited about, I'll have more info and pics later.
In other news I canned my myspace account and so that leaves another dead button on bobbyt.com's toolbar. I didn't see the point in partaking in an ad-filled site with glittery gifs and random errors on every other page. I have a few new ideas tho.
